Brimstone at COP27: Watch the Video

We joined the U.S. State Department's First Movers coalition at COP27, where we showed cement made via our carbon-negative process.
Brimstone showcased our carbon-negative technology at the 27th annual Conference of the Parties (COP27) in Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt.
The U.S. State Department invited Brimstone to the annual climate conference as part of the First Movers coalition, a select group of U.S. companies currently leading the way in industrial decarbonization.

Our co-founder and CEO Cody Finke got a firsthand look at the U.S. State Department pavilion, including our contribution: a 2-inch³ mortar cube composed of ordinary portland cement made via our carbon-negative process. It is chemically and physically identical to the cement commonly used on worksites throughout the world.
Today, the $1 trillion cement market is responsible for 7.5% of carbon emissions annually. Our process makes the exact same products used in cement manufacturing today—ordinary portland cement and supplementary cementitious material (SCM)—but removes CO2 from the air rather than putting it in.
